The university manager issued a decision in 1971 to establish the educational techniques center

Then issued his decision in 1979 to amend the center's name to be center for educational techniques and technologies

And lastly issued his decision No.18241/G dated 19/12/2005 to join the center for educational techniques and technologies to the educational services general directorate with changing its name to be : educational means department
